Eggleston Charolais is a family owned and operated business located in east, central South Dakota. We are now 5 generations deep and have been raising cattle on our farmstead for over 100 years.
Dennis and Marilyn first introduced purebred Charolais genetics into our commercial herd in the 70's. After seeing the improved gains and increased profits, we began raising purebred Charolais for our own use. Our appreciation of the breed led us to where we are today.
We pride ourselves in raising top quality, pure bred Charolais bulls and females. Our herd consists of mostly polled genetics, with tremendous performance, and built in feed efficiency. We strive to produce cattle with easy calving, quiet dispositions, and strong carcass and maternal traits. Our bulls are semen tested, ultrasounded and have performance data.
